| Flamenco Society This Flamenco Society has been created and organized by Marsha Bonet, Rosa la Huracana. Many have helped to contribute to the development of the society and it's success. Participants/Members are joined together to collaborate their Flamenco or other art and communicate such to the community. Dancers, musicians, aficianados and more come together. The society strives to make Flamenco stronger in Florida and draw Flamenco artists from around the world. It also creates a medium of communication to the community through meetings, concerts, and newsletters. Society Meetings and the Las Palmas Newsletter We have had two meetings so far and three newsletters are in distribution. The first meeting was in March 2005 at Mahi Mahi Bistro on International Drive in Orlando and the second was June 12 at Ole Ole Restaurant in Winter Park (Park Ave). The meetings were a success bringing artist from all around together. The newsletters are the distribution form of communication between each other member and to the community. More on the meetings and newsletters throughout the web. There are photos and videos from the meetings on this site. *Note media from the second meeting is under production. |
